The Quartier Montorgueil is a charming, historically preserved market street located in the very center of Paris.Ý Since the 1800's, Rue de Montorgueil has been a Mecca for gourmets. Balzac considered it the meeting place of the best society of Paris and the place that best honors French cuisine. In the 1999 edition of Frommer's, Rue MontorgueilÝ was rated the #1 market street in Paris.

Not very known to the average tourist in the past, the Quartier Montorgueil is a favorite among Parisians for dining and food shopping and is very fast becoming in vogue and the place to be. Its charming and reserved for pedestrians streets are paved with marble cobblestones and filled with gourmet food stores, fresh fruit and vegetable stands, flower shops, outdoor cafes and restaurants. You will also find several of Paris finest bakeries. The Quartier Montorgueil is only a short walk to Les Halles, Le Marais and Centre Pompidou and a 15 minute walk to the Louvre Museum, Seine River, and the Left Bank area. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, very quiet and calm. Large windows in every room give it adequate light. The apartment consists of an entrance hallway, a good size living room, bedroom,  a separate newly renovated kitchen and a separate newly renovated complete bathroom with shower. The floor plan / layout of the apartment makes for a functional and convenient space to live in, giving the apartment its charming character and home feeling.

The living room features a sitting area with space to relax with a sofa, color TV and a dining area with a dining set. A private bedroom with a double bed sleeps two. Two more guests can sleep on the double sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is separate and a room by itself with enough space not only to cook but to enjoy yourself while doing it. A small bistro table for two offers itself for a cup of coffee, a sip of wine or a quick bite, without having to set up the dining table in the living room. Finally, the apartment also features a private and spacious complete bathroom with shower.

The whole apartment has just been recently renovated and redone with brand new kitchen, brand new bathroom and floors, all rooms painted and freshened up.
